"Au siècle dernier, à Listrac-Médoc existait le cru Renouil. Depuis son acquisition par la famille Bosq dans les années 2O, quatre générations se sont transmises leur attachement à la terre et à l'amour du travail bien fait pour donner toute sa quintessence au vin du Château Liouner, rebaptisé ainsi par les nouveaux propriétaires à partir d'un malicieux anagramme du cru d'origine."

"Last century there was the Renouil vineyard at Listrac-Médoc. Since its acquisition by the Bosq family in the 1920's four generations have imput their love of the earth and their pride in their work to produce the essential qualities of Château Liouner wine, which was subsequently renamed by the new owners because of a malicious anagram of the original vintage."
